
I was born and raised in Southern Illinois and graduated from Carmi – White County High School in 2008. I enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in September 2008 and served active duty till September 2013 as an Aviation Hydraulic and Structural Mechanic. While in the Marine Corps I was stationed in Beaufort, South Carolina and deployed to other states as well as Guam, Japan, and Thailand. After the Marine Corps, I worked as a Service Coordinator for Whayne Supply Company, a Caterpillar Dealership, and then Vectren as an Auxiliary Equipment Operator at AB Brown Powerplant.
I started pursing my Bachelor of Science Degree in 2018 at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, Illinois graduating with my Associate Degree in 2019 and then transferred to University of Southern Indiana. I worked as an intern in Audit and Tax at Botsch and Associates, CPA’s, LLC in Carmi, Illinois from July 2020 through May 2021, while I was attending school. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Professional Services in May 2021. After graduation, I was hired on as a Staff Accountant. I am currently attending courses at USI for my Masters in Business Administration with a discipline in Accountancy.
