My dream of operating an independent practice became a reality with the creation of Harmonie Wealth Group. I get the pleasure of sharing this experience and mentoring my son to the profession in the process.
I was born and raised in Posey County, Indiana. I graduated from New Harmony High School where I met my high school sweetheart and wife. We have been happily married since 1988; We purchased a house in New Harmony, Indiana and moved back home in late 2018; I proudly served in the United States Air Force on active duty from 1988-1994. My job consisted of being an Air Traffic Controller at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. Upon exiting active duty, my wife and I returned home where we raised two children in our hometown of New Harmony, Indiana. I continued to serve our country in the Air Force Reserves until 1997. During my time in the Air Force, I completed my Associate's Degree in Applied Science. Over the course of time, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree from Oakland City University and my Master's of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan. Before becoming a Financial Advisor, I worked on the retail banking side doing multiple roles such as management, lending, and customer service. I obtained my securities licenses in 2001 and have never looked back. The Financial services field is one that is ever changing and requires constant attention and I truly love what I do. The relationships I have built with my clients over the years is truly a blessing. My wife (Dawn) is a registered nurse and teaches nursing at the University of Southern Indiana (USI). We are proud parents of two children named Blayne and Madison. Blayne is a graduate of USI and is working along side me at Harmonie Wealth Group as the Office Manager. My daughter Madison Hatch is a graduate of the nursing program at USI and works as a Registed Nurse at St. Vincent's in a Respiratory office and the ICU. We attend Johnson United Methodist Church in New Harmony. Over the years, I have served in multiple roles for non-profit groups such as: Posey County Economic Development, United Way, Kiwanis, Harmonie Hundred, Ribeyre Gym Restoration Group, and Booster Club. I coached in Posey county for many of the years my children were in school. I have a diverse group of clientele that have afforded me the opportunity to often work with individuals that retire from: Astra Zeneca, CountryMark, Deaconess, Fifth Third, GE, Old National, Sabic, St. Mary's/St. Vincent and Toyota to name a few.
